Elixyr

Design: Barbara Schmidt

Spoon and bowl are relatives that go back a long time.  A spoon is a bowl with a handle. The holder prevents us from getting our hands dirty or scalding them. The Elixyr plates and bowls have handles. Unusual and familiar features, symmetry and asymmetry, geometric and organic elements come together to form a new entity. Flowing lines invite touch.  The grip of the handles is so comfortable - you don't want to let go.

Elixyr - beautiful to the touch.

Elixyr Décors

Décor: Lisa Keller

The “linen & cotton” décor plays with the textures of linen and cotton and presents them in a new form: on the plate instead of next to it or underneath.

Décor: Lisa Keller

A delicate watercolour of coniferous woodlands in a soft blue covers the asymmetrical, curved forms of the porcelain collection Elixyr. The soft colour shades play with the light and the imagination of the viewer.

Décor: Cornelia Müller

Liquid Red creates a modern and luxurious atmosphere in regal crimson.

Décor: Tanja Niedermann, Jürgen Stephan

With its fine web of light grey lines, the décor Illusion evokes the presence of shadows of a relief. The graphic pattern elegantly surrounds the rims of Elixyr.
